    If you’re in the area to see the Palรกcio Nacional da Ajuda (and you should be!) it’s absolutely worth stopping in to this museum. It shouldn’t take you very long to explore the museum so it’s easy to fit it into an itinerary. The jewelry, gold, and silver are all exquisite to behold. I normally don’t care for museum shops, but this one had a lot of interesting and fun items to peruse.

    I stumbled across this church by accident. It sits on a lovely, quiet square. Inside, the church has a gorgeous painted ceiling that will take your breath away. It’s absolutely worth your time to stop in and admire it.

    While you’re here, do yourself a favor and visit the San Gines cafe where you can get some stellar churros and chocolate.
