Chiesa del Santissimo Sudario dei Piemontesi is a small Baroque church near Largo di Torre Argentina that serves the Piedmontese (people from the Piedmont region) community in Rome. From the outside it looks modest among the busy streets, but the interior is compact and richly decorated with marble, altars, and paintings that reflect 17th–18th century taste.
Inside, the space feels quiet and intimate, with a single nave and side chapels holding devotional art and statues. The dark marble columns set off the frescoes on the gold gilt ceiling.
